About the Maternity Services Liaison Committee

The MSLC is a vehicle for change and includes all those involved in planning, providing and receiving maternity care in Sheffield, including service users, so they are well placed to advise on developments in local maternity services and monitor progress towards agreed standards. The group meets bimonthly, for 2 hours, normally at the Jessop Wing.

The Maternity Forum and the MSLC have a two-way mechanism for communication and formulating work plans. Members of the Maternity Forum who have shown a level of commitment to the group and express an interest in sitting on the MSLC will be offered support and guidance following invitation to join.
