If you do decide to become a member of Sheffield Maternity Forum then you can claim 40p per mile when travelling to meetings by car and any bus fares. We prefer you to travel by car or public transport but if you should need to travel by taxi then we will reimburse you.
At both the MSLC and Maternity Forum there are paid Creche facilities but if you prefer to leave your child with a friend or family member then you can claim £25. All you need to do is attach a note to your expenses claim form, from your chosen childcare provider, saying something along the following lines:

I looked after my grandchild [insert name] so that my daughter [insert your name]. Could attend a Maternity Forum/MSLC Meeting, [insert time], on [insert date]. Please could you arrange for £25 payment to be sent to me at the above address.
If you would like to use the creche facilities please let us know at least a week before the meeting date via email:
